Human Resource Development

Human Resource Development

We nurture human resources who will become successors for the world of ceramics in Saga Prefecture. We provide the opportunity to learn specialized techniques for ceramics production through trainings, as well as lectures, workshops, and seminars. These classes are provided for the purpose of technical development within the ceramics industry and the acquisition of technical knowledge. They also propel product development in ceramics by encouraging capable students who possess potential and ability, and may propel the improvement of techniques and products.

HRD project in the ceramics industry

Our laboratory has started offering trainings since April 2016, for the purpose of developing human resources for the next generation in charge of the ceramics industry. We offer various seminars and technical trainings including potter’s wheel, ceramic painting, pattern making, and molding, and so on, for those who are currently or will be engaged in the ceramics industry.
